1 terrorist ‘neutralized’ in southern Turkey
Gendarmerie Command take part in action around Amanos mountains in Hatay, province bordering Syria

HATAY, Turkey (AA) - Turkish security forces on Wednesday neutralized one terrorist in the southern border province of Hatay.
The Gendarmerie Command took part in the action around the Amanos mountains in Hatay, the governorship said in a statement.
Turkish authorities often use the word “neutralized" in statements to imply the terrorists in question surrendered or were killed or captured.
Hatay borders Syria, where the terrorist groups PKK/YPG and Daesh have been active.
