12 injured as spinning joyride falls to ground in northern India: Police official
Incident takes place at fair in Mohali district of Punjab state

NEW DELHI (AA) - At least a dozen people were injured in the northern Indian state of Punjab after a spinning joyride abruptly fell to the ground on Sunday evening, officials said.
Harsimran Singh Bal, a police official in the district, told Anadolu Agency that at least 12 people were injured in the incident that took place at a fair in the Mohali district.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, said another official in the district.
A video of the incident which went viral on social media showed a high-rise spinning joyride breaking down and crashing on the ground.
