1,500-year-old book seized in Turkey
Written in Hebrew, ancient book decorated with Shield of David, gold foil

IZMIR, Turkey (AA) - Turkish security forces confiscated a 1,500-year-old religious book in Izmir province Friday, said local police.
The police department’s anti-smuggling and organized crime unit carried out the operation in Gaziemir district.
The 17-page book is written in Hebrew and decorated with the Shield of David and gold foil.
A suspect has been arrested on suspicion of smuggling the book.
