2 drones attack residential buildings in Russia's Krasnodar region

Drones caused damage to buildings but did not result in any casualties, says Krasnodar region governor

MOSCOW (AA) - Two drones attacked residential buildings in the southern city of Krasnodar, the administrative center of Krasnodar region, on Friday.

Addressing reports of morning explosions in the city, the regional governor, Veniamin Kondratyev, said the drones exploded after damaging the buildings.

"There is damage to buildings, but the life-supporting infrastructure has not been affected. And most importantly -- there were no casualties," Kondratyev wrote on Telegram.

In recent months the Ukrainian intelligence launched a series of attacks on Russia's neighboring regions, widely using unmanned aerial vehicles.
