3 foreign nationals with Daesh/ISIS links nabbed in Türkiye

KAHRAMANMARAS, Türkiye (AA) – Three foreign nationals with links to the Daesh/ISIS terrorist organization were arrested in southeastern Türkiye on Thursday.

The suspects, identified only by their initials M.K., N.K., and A.A., were nabbed in joint operations by gendarmerie and anti-terrorism teams in Kahramanmaras.

The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation against the Daesh/ISIS group being led by the Kahramanmaras Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

All three suspects are believed to have taken part in attacks by the terrorist group in Syria between 2016 and 2019.

They were later produced in court, where their arrests were formalized.
