ANKARA (AA) – Neutralized in an anti-terror operation last week, three terrorists were revealed to be on Turkey’s wanted list, the Interior Ministry said on Monday.

Suna Tas, Latife Hanibi and Dilan Silinsin were among six terrorists neutralized in an air-backed operation in the eastern Diyarbakir province on April 29.

Tas – listed on the red category of the most-wanted – was sought with up to 10 million Turkish liras ($1.2 million) bounty on her head. She joined the PKK terror group in 2011 and was identified as the so-called "female leader at the midfield headquarters" of the terror group.

Separately, terrorist Hanibi – listed on the orange category – was sought with up to 1 million Turkish liras ($120,500) bounty on her head. Hanibi was identified as PKK’s "female leader of Amed state in Lice region" located southeast of Diyarbakir.

Meanwhile, Silinsin, another PKK terrorist was listed on the grey category with up to 600,000 Turkish liras ($72,200) bounty on her head.

Turkey’s wanted list is divided into five color-coded categories, with red as the most wanted, followed by blue, green, orange and gray.

Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.

The ministry said that the terrorists were identified as the perpetrators of the terror incidents around Diyarbakir.

In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US, and EU – has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people including women, children, and infants.
