4 Daesh-linked suspects arrested in Turkey
Anti-terror operation was carried out in southeastern Sanliurfa, central Cankiri provinces

SANLIURFA, Turkey (AA) - At least four people were arrested in central and southeastern Turkey on Tuesday over suspected links to Daesh terrorist organization, according to the local police.
Three suspects were arrested during an anti-terror operation conducted in the southeastern Sanliurfa province. The suspects -- identified by the initials Z.F, M.H. and H.H. -- are Syrian nationals.
In the central Cankiri province, police arrested another suspect, Iraqi national Hamza Ahmad Salih. The suspect was later remanded in custody.
Turkish security forces have been involved in a long-running campaign to thwart Daesh attacks.
More than 300 people have lost their lives in Daesh-claimed attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in suicide bomb, rocket and gun attacks.
