AMMAN (AA) - Five people were killed in an attack on a Jordanian intelligence office in capital Amman on Monday.
Government spokesman Mohammad Momani said the attack targeted the office in the Baqaa camp for Palestinian refugees in northern Amman, according to the official Petra news agency.
Three intelligence officers and two employees working for the office were killed in the attack, he added.
Momani went on to describe the incident -- which took place at 7am local time -- as a “terrorist attack”, without giving further details.
