5 Serie A matches postponed amid coronavirus fears

This weekend's 5 league matches deferred due to threat of coronavirus in Italy

ANKARA (AA) - A total of five Serie A matches have been postponed due to the threat of the coronavirus in northern Italy.

Juventus vs Inter Milan, Udinese vs Fiorentina, AC Milan vs Genoa, Parma vs Spal and Sassuolo vs Brescia games were supposed to be held this weekend without fans at the stadiums but Serie A Saturday decided to reschedule these games for May 13.

The Italian Football Federation already postponed three Serie A games last week as coronavirus continues to spread across the country.

Italy has become the worst-hit country in Europe by the coronavirus outbreak, with the death toll in the country rising to 21 and 820 confirmed cases.
