6.4 magnitude tremor jolts Phillippines
Quake hits southern Philippines with no casualties, damage yet reported

KUALA LUMPUR (AA) - A 6.4-magnitude earthquake shook the Philippines on Sunday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Occurring at 10.02 a.m. local time (0202GMT), the epicenter of the quake was located 124 kilometers (77 miles) off the eastern coast of Jose Abad Santos in the Davao Occidental, the Institute said.
No casualties or damage were yet reported.
The institute said more aftershocks were expected.
