KABUL (AA) - At least seven people have been killed on Friday during an anti-government protest in the Afghan capital of Kabul, local media have reported.
The demonstrations came after Wednesday’s massive truck bombing in Kabul that claimed up to 90 lives and left more than 400 injured.
According to the local media outlets, gunfire broke out as Afghan police tried to disperse the angry crowd marching to the presidential palace in the city, leading to at least seven deaths and 10 injured.
Chanting slogans saying "Traitors die", "Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah resign", "Death to America", the protesters were intercepted by security forces.
