13 militants shot dead in operations in central, northern Sinai, says Egyptian military
CAIRO (AA) – Nine soldiers were killed or injured in operations against militants in the Sinai Peninsula, the Egyptian military said on Thursday.
At least 13 militants were killed in the operations in central and northern Sinai, army spokesman Gharib Abdel Hafez said in a statement.
He said 15 rifles, ammunition, mobile phones, cash in different currencies, and several motorcycles used in past militant attacks were seized.
