Akhisarspor advance to Turkish Cup final

MANISA, Turkey (AA) - Akhisarspor shut out Umraniyespor on Wednesday to reach the finals in the Turkish Cup.

The teams played the first leg April 3 to the same 1-0 score.

Galatasaray and Yeni Malatyaspor drew to a scoreless result in early April their Turkish Cup semifinals match.

The Lions missed an opportunity to take an advantage during the match in Istanbul.

Yeni Malatyaspor and Galatasaray will play for the second spot in the finals April 25.

The final will be played in central Sivas province May 16.

The last Turkish Cup winners in 2018, Akhisar, eliminated Kasimpasa while Evkur Yeni Malatyaspor knocked out Goztepe in quarterfinal matches.
