ISTANBUL (AA) - One football club in Aytemiz Alanyaspor vs Besiktas clash will possibly remain in Turkish Super Lig title race on Friday.
Alanyaspor are currently at the fifth spot with 39 points, seven points away from the top spot, while Besiktas are at the seventh spot with 37 points.
Turkish giants Besiktas might slip down on the table over 10 points behind from the top spot if they cannot beat Alanyaspor Friday night.
Vice versa, Alanyaspor will look to do its best not to fall 10 points behind league leaders.
The game in the week 24 in Super Lig will kick off at 8 p.m. local time (1700GMT) in Alanya district of southern Antalya province.
- Fenerbahce also seek win to stay in title race
Fenerbahce will face Antalyaspor in an away game on Saturday in week 24 of Turkey's top-tier division, the Super Lig.
The Yellow Canaries are seeking a win to stay in the title race and to make up for last week’s loss to arch-rivals Galatasaray.
Galatasaray won an eventful derby 3-1, and ended their over two-decade-long wait for a win at Fenerbahce’s stadium.
With 38 points, Fenerbahce are currently sixth on the table and eight points off the top.
The race for Turkey’s premier division title has been fiery throughout the 2019-20 season.
Medipol Basaksehir, the team at the top with 46 points, will take on Gaziantep FK at home on Monday.
Second-placed Trabzonspor, having 45 points and a game at hand, will play against Caykur Rizespor at home on Saturday.
