Anadolu Agency book covers changes in int'l politics

ANKARA (AA) - A recently published book by Anadolu Agency tells about outstanding political, economic and military issues across the world.

In the book titled Global Fault Lines in World Politics, renown academicians, experts, strategists and analysts interpret economic, geopolitical, political and technological developments that challenge the international balance of power, as well as the new and major mobilities in the broad geopolitical sphere from Asia to Europe.

In addition to the developments in non-Western world, the book also covers new competition areas between the U.S. and Russia, the rapprochement between the two powers of Asia - Russia and China, and the rising competition in the Caucasus and the Baltic regions.

The book also discusses the rivalry between the U.S. and China, which started in the commercial field and turned into a rivalry over technology, with Chinese company Huawei's "5G technology" as the new geopolitical field of struggle.

The U.S. politics during Donald Trump's presidency deepening the chaos in the Middle East, and Israel's publicized Gulf policy attempting normalization with the Arab countries are covered in detail by the book.

The African continent, another area where global fault lines are crunching and the struggle field of global powers to penetrate, is also widely discussed in the new book published by Anadolu Agency.
