Anadolu Agency delegation meets Vietnamese officials
Parties discuss journalism cooperation and expansion

HANOI, Vietnam (AA) – An Anadolu Agency delegation met on Friday with members of Vietnam’s government.

The meeting comes a day after Anadolu Agency and the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) renewed a cooperation agreement.

Anadolu Agency Deputy Director General Mustafa Ozkaya led the delegation which met Deputy Information and Communication Minister Nguyen Minh Hong.

VNA Deputy Director General Le Duy Truyen also participated in the meeting where Ozkaya outlined Anadolu Agency’s Pacific expansion.

Ozkaya said the cooperation between two agencies would contribute to the expansion of rapidly growing economic relations between the two countries.

He said they had agreed with VNA authorities to expand cooperation also in the field of training journalists, including in a war journalism training program.

Hong further voiced expectations for an Anadolu Agency office to open in Vietnam.
