Anadolu Agency to cover poll results in 13 languages

ANKARA (AA) – Anadolu Agency will offer coverage of the June 24 presidential and parliamentary election results in 13 languages to subscribers worldwide.

The agency’s election stories will be broadcast in Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, French, Spanish, Russian, Indonesian, Albanian and Kurdish.

Anadolu Agency, which successfully transmitted results in the last five elections since 2014, continues to serve Turkish and foreign media organizations with the 2018 coverage.

It has prepared the necessary software and infrastructure in order to report results straight from the ballot boxes. The agency will also conduct multiple cyber tests, which would allow TV channels and websites to test their own software and systems, until the day of elections.

Providing various solutions for different media organizations, Anadolu Agency has also prepared a comprehensive package, which includes election data from the ballot boxes, a special interface for TV screens, an online map interface for websites and a candidate database.

The agency prepared an "Election Screen" for local channels, which allows them to modify color, branding and visuals should they desire to do so.

It will also instantly post election results in Turkish, English, Arabic, the Kurdish dialects of Sorani and Kurmanji as well as in Zazaki (spoken in eastern Turkey by Zazas) for viewers of regional television channels.
