Anadolu Agency to launch Diplomacy Journalism training
International participants from 8 different countries will receive training between Feb. 5-16 in Ankara

ANKARA (AA) - Anadolu Agency on Monday will launch its Diplomacy Journalism Training for international participants in Ankara in collaboration with the Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and Anadolu Agency's News Academy.
The "Diplomacy Journalism Training" program will welcome participants from Ukraine, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Mongolia for 78 hours of practical and theory lessons between Feb. 5-16.
The program aims to teach journalists on foreign policy, diplomacy and energy to establish specialized reporting on changes in Central Asia and the Caucasus.
As part of the program, diplomacy-specific reporting and interview techniques, Anadolu Agency’s Asia-Caucasus publications, the working environment of diplomacy journalists and photography techniques will be addressed.
The training will be offered mainly in Russian, while some lessons will be provided with simultaneous Russian translation.
Successful participants will be awarded internationally recognized certificates at the end of the program.
The program includes visits to TIKA, the Foreign Ministry of Turkey, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Turkey's Abroad Turks and Relative Communities Presidency (YTB).
