Anadolu Agency's Macedonian desk celebrates 6th year
Language service published over 77,700 news articles, 25,500 photos, nearly 17,000 videos across world in 6 years

SKOPJE, North Macedonia (AA) - The Macedonian language service of Anadolu Agency, Turkey's leading news provider, marked its sixth anniversary on Tuesday.
The agency launched the service, based in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, on Nov. 9, 2015, as part of its 100th-year vision.
It operates together with the Albanian language and has become an important news source in the country over its six years of operation.
So far, the service has published more than 77,741 news articles, 25,565 photos, and 16,938 videos from the Balkans, Turkey, and the world. Besides these, it also provides its subscribers and readers with infographics.
Anadolu Agency boasts 41 offices worldwide and produces news stories in 13 languages -- Turkish, English, Arabic, French, BHS (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian), Russian, Kurmanji, Sorani, Farsi, Albanian, Macedonian, Indonesian, and Spanish.
Established on April 6, 1920, as one of Turkey's first national institutions, Anadolu Agency is committed to expanding its news network and power around the world with new language services and central offices.
