NEW YORK (AA) - Anadolu Agency is here with a rundown of the latest developments around the world.

The death toll rose to 20,318 with more than 80,000 wounded from devastating earthquakes in southern Türkiye, according to the country's disaster agency.

More than 100 hours since the quakes shook southern Türkiye earlier this week, rescue efforts continue as survivors are being pulled from the debris.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continues to visit the southern region to monitor search and rescue efforts in the disaster zone.

A village on the banks of the Asi River in Syria’s Idlib, has been flooded as a dam was damaged by the powerful quakes, according to a source with the Syrian Civil Defense.

Fourteen truckloads of UN humanitarian aid crossed into northwestern Syria through Türkiye after the region was hit by the deadly quakes.
