ANKARA (AA) - Anadolu Agency is here with a rundown of the latest developments in Turkey, around the world, and the coronavirus pandemic.

Turkey has administered over 106 million coronavirus vaccine jabs since the country launched an immunization drive in January. Some 52.95 million people have gotten their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while more than 42.53 million are fully vaccinated. The Health Ministry meanwhile reported 29,338 new coronavirus cases, while 260 more people lost their fight against the disease in the past 24 hours.

Turkey is planning to submit the Paris climate pact to parliament next month in line with its constructive steps and a declaration of its contributions to the cause, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced.

Turkey's biggest aerospace and technology festival TEKNOFEST kicked off in Istanbul.

Turkey's parliament speaker criticized the EU for being inconsistent and unrealistic over the migration crisis, Islamophobia and the Eastern Mediterranean crisis.

Security forces in southeastern Turkey held a PKK terrorist who was preparing to carry out a bomb attack. The terrorist was nabbed on Sept. 15 in an operation in Baglar district of Diyarbakir province following a tipoff, provincial police chief Huseyin Askin told reporters after a security meeting.
