Anadolu Efes retain EuroLeague lead in away win

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's Anadolu Efes beats Serbian team Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade 85-78 to maintain its lead in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague on Friday.

American superstar Shane Larkin scored 24 points to help his team in the Round 22 game.

Larkin also produced three assists at Stark Arena.

The Istanbul team are on top of the EuroLeague, with a 19-3 record.

Anadolu Efes has had an excellent season in the European campaign and has a seven-game run in this competition.

Crvena Zvezda is 10th in the EuroLeague standings at 9-13.

Anadolu Efes will travel to CSKA Moscow in the Round 23 on Feb. 4.

With 16 wins, CSKA Moscow are in the second spot.

There will be 34 rounds in the EuroLeague's regular season, which ends April 10.

The top eight teams will go to the playoffs to play a best-of-five series.

The winners will go through to the EuroLeague Final Four.
