Archaeologists find Roman-era rock tomb in southeastern province of Adiyaman

ADIYAMAN, Turkey (AA) - Turkish archaeologists on Monday unearthed a Roman-era rock tomb in country's southeastern province of Adiyaman.
Mehmet Alkan, a Turkish museum manager in the province, told media that they spotted a rock tomb during land works in a village.
Alkan said shape of the tomb is similar to a small room. The archeologists also discovered a carved relief of woman and inscription at the entrance of the tomb.
He said that they want to officially register this tomb.
