Argentina’s envoy visits Anadolu Agency headquarters

ANKARA (AA) - Argentina's ambassador to Turkey on Tuesday visited the headquarters of Turkey’s premier news agency Anadolu Agency in the capital Ankara.

Jorge A. Mastropietro was received by Anadolu Agency's Director General Senol Kazanci and Deputy Director-General and Editor-in-Chief Metin Mutanoglu.

Kazanci and Mastropietro discussed ways to improve bilateral relations through news agencies.

Noting that he is closely following the Spanish service of Anadolu Agency, the ambassador said the agency reflects facts about the region with its news coverage.

Founded in 1920, Anadolu Agency is a leading global news agency operating across the world. It serves to subscribers in more than 100 countries, including in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Asia-Pacific.

The agency produces news stories in 13 languages: Turkish, English, Arabic, BHS (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian), Russian, Kurmanji, Sorani, Persian, French, Albanian, Macedonian, Indonesian and Spanish.
