Armed militias raid police center in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (AA) – At least 20 people were injured as gunmen attacked a police training center in Pakistan’s Balochistan province late Monday, authorities said.

At least five terrorists attacked the accommodation of the police training college in Quetta city after they infiltrated the complex where more than 200 cadets stay, according to a statement by police.

Cadets were reportedly taken held hostage after Pakistani security forces began operations to naturalize the attackers.

Separatist militias in Balochistan province have carry out deadly terror attacks on security forces since 2014.
