Arsonists attack telecommunication company’s van in northern Greece

ATHENS (AA) - A van of a telecommunication company was targeted by unidentified arsonists in Greece’s northern port city of Thessaloniki, local media reported on Wednesday.

The early morning attack caused significant damage to the van and an adjacent parked vehicle, said public broadcaster ERT.

A team of firefighters arrived on the scene and quickly extinguished the fire caused by the attack on the van, it said, adding that an investigation is already underway to determine the details of the incident.
