Asian stocks mixed at Tuesday’s close

ISTANBUL (AA) - Asian indices closed the second transaction day of the week with mixed figures.

The Asia Dow, which includes blue-chip companies in the region, dropped 0.50% to 3,420.11 points as of 1133GMT.

Tokyo's Nikkei 225 earned 0.35% to close at 28,287.42 points.

The Hang Seng, the benchmark for blue-chip stocks trading on the Hong Kong exchange, lost 0.66% to 20,274.59 points.

China's Shanghai Stock Exchange was up 0.49% to close at 3,312.56.

The Singapore index rose 0.92% to end the day at 3,311.12 points.
