Asian stocks mostly down at Wednesday’s close
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 drops 0.71%, Hang Seng up 0.71%

ISTANBUL (AA) – The majority of Asian stock exchanges closed Wednesday with declines.
The Asia Dow, which includes blue-chip companies in the region, dropped 0.12% to 3,362.23 points as of 1016GMT.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 fell by 0.71% to close at 28,416.47 points.
The Hang Seng, the benchmark for blue-chip stocks trading on the Hong Kong exchange, earned 0.71% to reach 19,757.27 points.
China's Shanghai Stock Exchange lost 0.02% to 3,264.10 and India's Sensex index rose by 0.28% to close at 60,300.58.
The Singapore index was down 0.08% to end the day at 3,293.91 points.
