IDLIB, Syria (AA) - Syrian regime jets hit Hama district in Idlib province on Wednesday leaving four civilians, including two children, dead and five injured, the Syrian Civil Defense said.
Ammar Sulayman, director of the Syrian Civil Defense known as the White Helmets, told Anadolu Agency that the Bashar al-Assad forces launched air raids early on Wednesday.
In the last four days, regime attacks have killed 17 people and injured 45, despite a 30-day UN cease-fire call late last month.
Syria has been locked in a devastating conflict since early 2011 when the regime cracked down on demonstrators with unexpected ferocity.
According to UN officials, hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in the conflict so far.
