Athletic Bilbao extend Williams’ contract until 2028

ANKARA (AA) - The Spanish La Liga team Athletic Bilbao on Monday announced that the club extended the contract of Spanish forward Inaki Williams for another nine years.

"The player Inaki Williams has prolonged his connection with Athletic Club until June 30, 2028. His termination clause is set at €135 million ($151 million)," the club said in a statement.

The 25-year-old forward scored 49 goals in 204 appearances during his five-season spell with Athletic Bilbao.

He also made his Spanish national team debut in May 2016.
