MELBOURNE, Australia (AA) – Several streets in Melbourne’s central business district were shut down Sunday as anti-racism and anti-immigration groups held rival rallies in response to Donald Trump’s victory in the United States election.

The Australian Associated Press (AAP) reported that hundreds of anti-Trump protesters chanted “no racists, no fear” two blocks away from around 40 Trump supporters who gathered at Victoria state’s Parliament House.

Riot squad police and mounted police had been deployed for the rival rallies, during which a man from the pro-Trump rally reportedly shoved an AAP photographer’s camera into his face, leaving him with cuts and bruises.

Victoria police arrested the suspect, before releasing him pending further investigation.

The pro-Trump ralliers waved Australian flags and held banners saying “Trump Congratulations”, intermittently chanting “You can’t stop the Trump.”
