Bahrain, Brunei hold talks to boost bilateral cooperation

ISTANBUL (AA) – Bahrain’s King Hamed bin Isa Al-Khalifa held talks in the capital, Manama, on Saturday with Brunei’s Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Discussions between the two leaders dwelt on ties of cooperation and friendship between the two countries and their steady development in various areas, the state news agency BNA reported.

The talks also covered a host of regional and international issues of mutual concern, the broadcaster said.

Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa was present during the talks.

Brunei’s sultan arrived in the Gulf country on Friday for an official visit.
