Basketball: Anadolu Efes advance to Turkish league finals

ISTANBUL (AA) - Anadolu Efes advance to Turkish basketball league finals series after beating Galatasaray Doga Sigorta 78-72 Wednesday evening.

Anadolu Efes won the playoff series 3-0 and moved onto the playoff finals.

Anadolu Efes' Micic was the high scorer for his team with 23 points.

Efes led Galatasaray 17-15 in the first period, 41-36 in the second period and 61-55 in the third period.

The score was close throughout the match, but Anadolu Efes did not let Galatasaray take over the lead, and eliminated their opponents.

Anadolu Efes will face winner of Fenerbahce Beko - TOFAS playoff series.
