Basketball: Anadolu Efes lead Galatasaray 2-0 in series

Semi-finals series in Turkish basketball league playoffs continue as Anadolu Efes take commanding 2-0 series lead

ANKARA (AA) - Anadolu Efes defeated Galatasaray Doga Sigorta 80-68 on Sunday evening in Turkish basketball league's semi-finals playoffs series.

Dominating the game throughout, Anadolu Efes cruised to 2-0 series lead over Galatasaray.

Anadolu Efes led Galatasaray 24-14 after the first quarter, and the margin kept increasing as they had a comfortable 46-30 first half lead.

In the third quarter, Anadolu Efes were up by 25 points (67-42). The Turkish Airlines Euroleague finalists did not let Galatasaray come close as they got the win.

In the other semi-final matchup, Fenerbahce lead TOFAS 1-0 in series.
