French guard renews contract with Spanish club for 2+1 years

ANKARA (AA) - French guard Thomas Heurtel re-signed a two-plus-one-year contract with Barcelona, the Spanish basketball club announced Friday.
“Thomas Heurtel will continue to delight the Palau Blaugrana for at least two more years. The club and the French guard have agreed to extend his stay until 30 June 2021, with an optional contract extension through to 2022,’’ the club said in a statement on its website.
During the 2018-19 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, the 30-year-old guard played with 10.4 points, 4.8 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game for Barcelona.
