Basketball: Fenerbahce one win away from league title

Up 3-1 in series, Fenerbahce Dogus to take on TOFAS at home Wednesday evening

ANKARA (AA) - Fenerbahce Dogus will take on TOFAS in the Turkish basketball playoff finals' Game 5 match Wednesday at Istanbul's Ulker Sports and Events Hall.

The match will begin at 9 p.m. local time (GMT1800).

Fenerbahce will become Turkish league champions again if they beat TOFAS. The Bursa team will aim to extend the series and try to stay alive at Fenerbahce home turf.

Fenerbahce won the pivotal Game 4 on Monday evening with a score of 95-77 to lead the series 3-1. Italian forward Gigi Datome was the high scorer with 25 points.

Under legendary head coach Zeljko Obradovic, Fenerbahce won the Turkish league title in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
