Basketball: Turkish Super Lig playoffs set to begin

8 teams, including regular season leaders Fenerbahce Dogus to fight for domestic trophy

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's Tahincioglu Basketball Super Lig playoffs are set to begin on Tuesday with eight teams, including regular season leaders Fenerbahce Dogus competing for the domestic title.

Two games will be played on Tuesday evening; Tofas, which completed its regular season in the runners-up position, will meet Eskisehir Basket after finishing the season in the seventh spot.

Istanbul heavyweights Anadolu Efes will play against Darussafaka in the quarter final.

Anadolu Efes came third while their opponents Darussafaka were in the sixth place in the regular season standings.

Teams with two wins in quarter finals will advance to the semis.

Tofas-Eskisehir Basket at 1745 GMT

Wednesday:

Besiktas Sompo Japan-Banvit at 1515 GMT
