Basketball: Venezia women advance to EuroCup Final

ANKARA (AA) - Italy's Reyer Venezia advanced to basketball's Euro Cup Women's final on Thursday evening after defeating Turkey's Hatay 80-57.

Despite losing the first match 74-54 in Turkey, Venezia managed to eliminate Hatay with a 23-point blow out in the second leg of the tie.

For Venezia, Riquna Williams was in top-form, she scored a game-high 19 points in the victory.

For Hatay, Courtney Paris' 14 point-12 rebound performance was not enough.

Reyer Venezia will take on another Turkish club, Galatasaray, in the final.
