Besiktas, Antalyaspor to vie for Turkish Super Cup
Qatar's Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium to host game on Wednesday

ISTANBUL (AA) – Besiktas will face Fraport TAV Antalyaspor in a Turkish Super Cup match on Wednesday.
The game will be played at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Doha, Qatar’s capital.
Besiktas were the 2021 Turkish Super Lig champion and the 2021 Ziraat Turkish Cup winner, while Fraport TAV Antalyaspor were the Turkish Cup finalist.
The first Turkish Super Cup was held in 2006 and claimed by Besiktas.
Galatasaray won the Turkish Super Cup six times to be titled the winner of the most trophies in the event – 2008, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2019.
