Besiktas to continue for now with Karaveli as head coach
After taking over this weekend, former youth coach Onder Karaveli led Besiktas to 4-2 win over Yukatel Kayserispor on Sunday

ANKARA (AA) – Istanbul football powerhouse Besiktas has decided to continue for now with Onder Karaveli as head coach, the club said Monday.
After Sergen Yalcin's resignation last Friday, Karaveli, one of the club’s youth coaches, managed the team against Yukatel Kayserispor in a Sunday Super Lig game which Besiktas won 4-2.
The board decided to keep Karaveli on as head coach until they make a final decision on several names considered for the manager position, said Ceyhun Kazanci, the franchise’s general manager.
