Biden to host Danish prime minister on June 5: White House

Leaders will 'further strengthen the deep and enduring ties between the United States and Denmark,' says spokeswoman

WASHINGTON (AA) - US President Joe Biden will host Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen at the White House on June 5.

The two leaders will aim to "further strengthen the deep and enduring ties between the United States and Denmark," White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday in a statement.

"The two leaders will review our efforts as NATO Allies and close partners to strengthen transatlantic security and bolster economic prosperity," she said.

In addition to discussing support for Ukraine against Russia's war, Biden and Frederiksen "will coordinate on a range of issues, including energy security, climate change, and other global issues," the statement said.
