Bill proposes to make two SE Turkey provinces districts
Draft law also proposes to grant province status to two districts in the region

ANKARA (AA) - A draft law was submitted Tuesday to Turkish parliament to change the administrative status of two southeastern provinces and two districts.
The draft law proposes to downgrade Hakkari and Sirnak provinces to districts, and rename them "Colemerik" and "Nuh", respectively.
The bill also proposes to award province status to Hakkari's Yuksekova and Sirnak's Cizre districts.
