HUARA, Chile – A bird's eye view of the Atacama Giant, which is considered largest human representation globally, in Huara, Chile.

Despite its prominence, the geoglyph remains shrouded in mystery, with limited information available.

Experts believe that the Atacama Giant was likely crafted by the region's inhabitants between 900 and 1450 AD.

It is thought to depict a 'shaman' or 'yatiri,' a person who possesses the ability to predict events, connect with spirits, and conduct healing practices within certain religious beliefs.
