Bitcoin value cracks $11,000 mark
Bitcoin price breaks $11,000 for the first time, marking an increase of 1,000 percent year-to-date

ANKARA (AA) - The value of Bitcoin surpassed the threshold of $11,000 on Wednesday to mark a fresh record high. Bitcoin was changing hands at $11,117.70 at 1400GMT.
In the last 24 hours, the trading volume of Bitcoin surpassed $8.5 billion and its market capitalization is now standing at $185 billion.
The value of the most popular cryptocurrency in the world soared by 1,000 percent year-to-date.
