Blazers' Lillard scores 51 points in win over Utah Jazz

Damian Lillard maintains his impressive form with 51 points, 12 assists to lead victory for Blazers

ANKARA (AA) - Portland Trail Blazers defeated Utah Jazz 124-107 late Saturday as Blazers' star point-guard Damian Lillard dropped 51 points to lead victory for his team at home.

Lillard's impressive form in the league continued with 51 points, and 12 assists, including 9-pointers against the Jazz.

He recorded a fourth straight double-double for the first time in his career and etched his name into the record's book in the NBA to become the first player who averaged 45 points and 10 assists over a six-game span.

"I've never been in this type of rhythm in my life," Lillard said on his stunning performance in a post-game interview.

Hassan Whiteside posted a double-double with 17 points and 21 rebounds for the Blazers.

Donovan Mitchell was the highest scorer for the losing side with 25 points over the Blazers.

The Jazz suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, while the Blazers recorded their fourth win in a row during this period.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated Sacramento Kings 129-113, becoming the first team to gain 15 consecutive away games in a row in the Western Conference.

LeBron James got a triple-double with 15 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds while Anthony Davis scored 21 points for the Lakers.

Avery Bradley also added 19 points.

On the losing side, De'Aaron Fox averaged 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Lakers improved to 37 wins and 11 losses, now sit at the top of the Western Conference, while, the Kings fell to 18 wins and 31 losses, 13th in the same conference.
