Borsa Istanbul up for 3rd day
Markets maintain positive mood as shares continue climb
ANKARA (AA) - Shares on the Borsa Istanbul rose 0.26 percent on Tuesday.
The BIST 100 index closed the day at 77,994.79 points, up 0.26 percent or 203.19 points, maintaining an upward trend that started Friday.
The Turkish lira also advanced on the weaker U.S. dollar, hovering around 2.9330 at 6 p.m. (1500 GMT) local time.
