ANKARA (AA) - During a friendly visit to Anadolu Agency headquarters in Ankara, Brazilian Ambassador to Turkey said both countries need to boost economic, cultural and social relations.
Ambassador Eduardo Riccardo Gradilone Neto was welcomed by Anadolu Agency deputy director-general and editor-in-chief, Metin Mutanoglu and Foreign Languages Department Director Mehmet Ozturk.
Neto said the media had key a role to establish good relations between the two countries.
Mutanoglu, for his part, briefed the ambassador on the agency’s international operations and said the agency will begin Colombia-based broadcast in Spanish.
"We will closely follow developments in Brazil and ensure that they are transmitted accurately and quickly," said Mutanoglu.
Mutanoglu also said Latin America was a key country for Turkey and both countries should increase investments and boost economic relations.
The two figures also discussed establishing and boosting cooperation between Anadolu Agency and Brazilian news Agency.
