Caucasian Eagle exercises continue in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijani, Turkish, Georgian special forces successfully fulfill fire exercises on 3rd day of joint military drill

BAKU (AA) - The Caucasian Eagle 2019 joint military exercises between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia continued on Wednesday on its third day in Azerbaijan's capital Baku.
Azerbaijan’s National Defense Ministry said in a statement that fire exercises had been completed successfully during the joint exercises.
"Special Forces have fulfilled special fire exercises using automatic rifles, pistols, sniper rifles and single-use grenade launchers as part of the Caucasian Eagle, 2019 Exercises," said the statement.
"During the shooting conducted as part of the mixed firing groups, the special forces of the three countries have demonstrated high professionalism and successfully completed the assigned tasks," it added.

In accordance with the agreement reached between the Defense Ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia, the "Caucasian Eagle 2019" joint exercises started on Sept. 23 in Baku.
During the exercises, troops accomplished tasks including destroying mock targets, rescuing hostages, evacuating wounded.
Pakistani servicemen will take part as observers in the exercises that will last until Oct. 1.
