Champions League quarterfinal, semifinal draws unveiled

ISTANBUL (AA) - The UEFA Champions League draw ceremony for the quarterfinals and semifinals was held on Friday at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Two English clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City will meet in the quarterfinals.

Upsetting Real Madrid in the Round of 16, young Ajax will take on Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi and Barcelona will take on Manchester United, who pulled an upset against Paris Saint Germain.

Another English club Liverpool will take on Porto, who eliminated Roma in the previous round.

The quarterfinal draws are as follows:

Ajax (NED) - Juventus (ITA)

Liverpool (ENG) - Porto (POR)

Tottenham Hotspur (ENG) - Manchester City (ENG)

Barcelona (ESP) - Manchester United (ENG)

The semifinals draws are as follows:

Tottenham Hotspur (ENG) - Manchester City (ENG) / Ajax (NED) - Juventus (ITA)

Barcelona (ESP) - Manchester United (ENG) - Liverpool (ENG) - Porto (POR)

The schedules are as follows:

9/10 April: Quarterfinals, first leg

16/17 April: Quarterfinals, second leg

30 April/1 May: Semifinals, first leg

7/8 May: Semifinals, second leg

1 June: Final – Estadio Metropolitano, Madrid, Spain
