Chelsea to host Tottenham in Premier League London derby

Blues seek to extend their unbeaten streak against Spurs to 8 games

ANKARA (AA) - Chelsea will host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in a London derby in week 2 of the English Premier League.

Tottenham are currently at the top of the league standings with three points and three goals difference, as they defeated Southampton 4-1 on Aug. 6, in the first week.

Chelsea were able to beat Everton 1-0 on their turf with Jorginho's penalty on Aug. 6.

The Blues have not lost a single game in their last seven matches against the Spurs.

Tottenham, on the other hand, have a four-game winning streak with 13 goals while conceding only one.

Week 2 will kick off on Saturday as AstonVilla will take on Everton.

After the Met Office announced that the temperatures are set to reach up to 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) in some areas of the country, the water breaks are expected to be allowed in this week's matches, as it was allowed in last week's match between West Ham and Manchester City.
